2021 Spring Wildflower Walk
Friends of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve are pleased to announce
Craig Huegel will be leading Wildflower Walks at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve, April 24 & 25, 2020. Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the walks are smaller and have special requirements to keep participants safe.
Each walk (Sat. AM, Sun. AM) is limited to 13 participants. MASKS ARE REQUIRED and you will be asked to social distance. Participants drive their own vehicles and will park along the road at the various walk sites. Please bring your own lunch, water, a hat, sun screen and bug repellant.
PLEASE NOTE: Your place will not be reserved without payment. Be sure your transaction is completed when you sign up. Once paid, you will get confirmation emails from the Friends of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve. Registration is first come / first serve.
Kissimmee Prairie Preserve is at 33104 NW 192nd Avenue, Okeechobee, FL (Map). Cost is $26 for Friends of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve members. (Become a Friends member by clicking here.) and $36 for non-members. A $4 per vehicle entry fee is also required and must be paid at the gate when you enter the park.

Fitness Requirements: Ability to walk on uneven ground in the prairie. Your registration implies you agree to this waiver of liability. (you will be checked in without the need to sign anything for safety)
Cancellation/refund policy: Cancellations must be made by April 10th, 2021 for a refund.
