Your membership will include invitations to special member-only events, early registration and notification to other events, and access to members' pages where you may interact with other members, share photos, and be informed about member events. As we grow, more benefits and member content follow, but the main benefit of membership is being a part of the effort to support and benefit Kissimmee Prairie Preserve and its unique irreplaceable ecosystem.

Friends of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve Inc. is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, whose purpose is to provide educational, interpretive, and financial assistance to Kissimmee Prairie Preserve. This group is recognized as a Citizen Support Organization (CSO) by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Recreation & Parks. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Membership Qualifications

Qualifications for membership and the manner of their admission are that any person, including individuals, families, and corporations with an interest in the purpose of the corporation, shall become a member upon payment of dues as provided by our By-Laws. The board of directors, by majority vote of those present at any regular or special meeting may, for cause and with reasonable notice, terminate membership or decline member renewal. We provide for equal membership to all persons regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, or natural origin.
